A Woodworking machine is a machine that is intended to process wood.
A bandsaw (also written band saw) is a power saw with a long, sharp blade consisting of a continuous band of toothed metal stretched between two or more wheels to cut material. They are used principally in woodworking, metalworking, and lumbering, but may cut a variety of materials. Advantages include uniform cutting action as a result of an evenly distributed tooth load, and the ability to cut irregular or curved shapes like a jigsaw.[1] The minimum radius of a curve is determined by the width of the band and its kerf. Most bandsaws have two wheels rotating in the same plane, one of which is powered, although some may have three or four to distribute the load. The blade itself can come in a variety of sizes and tooth pitches (teeth per inch, or TPI), which enables the machine to be highly versatile and able to cut a wide variety of materials including wood, metal and plastic.
Machine tool for producing mortises and pockets for lock cases in wood
A mortiser or morticer is a specialized woodworking machine used to cut square or rectangular holes in a piece of lumber (timber), such as a mortise in a mortise and tenon joint. These chains are made in varying widths, with numbers of chains in parallel. The teeth are often solid or tipped tungsten carbide. They are thus very expensive, sometimes as much as the rest of the mortiser.A combination machine is a woodworking machine that combines the functions of two or more separate machines into a single unit.
CIRCULAR SAW
It is generally used for cross cutting of the wood. Other operations like grooving, rebating, tenoning, chamfering, tapering etc. are performed on this machine. The wood is fed against a rotating cutter.
THICKNESS PLANER
The thickness planner is a machine in which wooden planks and boards are planed evenly to a desired thickness. Such planers are manufactured in two varieties i.e. single and double surfaces. A single surface has only one cutter head and cuts from top side only. Thus, a board or plank to be planed has to be fed twice, once to plane its one side and then the other. The double surface carries two cutter heads; one cutting from the top and other from the bottom of the stock, thus finishing both sides in a single operation.
BANDSAW
It consists of table, guide, pulleys, belt and tension adjusting screw. It is used to saw the wooden pieces length wise. Fence is used to adjust the thickness of cutting strip. A band type cutter revolves over the two pulleys.
A multipurpose woodworking machine combines the functionality of multiple individual woodworking tools into a single, compact unit, offering versatility for various woodworking tasks. These machines typically include features like planing, thickness planing, shaping, routing, and cutting, allowing for a range of operations on wood.
Key Features and Benefits:
Versatility:
Multipurpose machines can handle various woodworking tasks, reducing the need for multiple machines and tools.
Space-Saving:
They are compact and require less floor space compared to individual machines.

Efficiency:
Some models feature automatic or semi-automatic feeding systems, improving workflow and productivity.
Integrated Dust Collection:
Many multipurpose machines include dust collection systems or ports to remove sawdust and debris during operation.
Common Functions:
Planer: Flattens and shapes the surface of wood.
Thickness Planer: Reduces wood to a desired thickness.
